As a Senior Financial Analyst at Cummins , you will be responsible for the preparation of financial analyses and reports. You will partner with the business to prepare the annual budget. You will interpret financial results to forecast profitability utilizing financial modeling and statistical reporting.
You will utilize your expertise by preparing complex financial analyses and reports for department leaders. You will collaborate with internal business partners and help develop others by coaching junior Financial Analysts.
Candidates will have:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
5 years of relevant work experience
Top Candidates will also have the ability to:
Interpret data, trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders to drive business improvement; communicate conclusions to stakeholders; ensure integrity of financial data.
Utilize financial forecast data to provide forward looking projections to facilitate decision making; partner with stakeholders to analyze trends and validate assumptions.
Collaborate with stakeholders and develop partnerships internally; influence the organization to support the decision-making process and guide the business towards positive results; evaluate business environment using measures to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.
Interpret financial data and prepare and present financial information; partner with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals.
Analyze and record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assess accounting requirements and objectives to anticipate implications on the business; communicate and collaborate with stakeholders of varying financial knowledge.
Actively seeks new ways to grow processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
