ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR/CONTABIL SEF

Description

We are looking for a talented Accounting Supervisor to join our team specializing in Finance for our Generator in Craiova.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Responsible for implementing accounting practices and procedures. Supervises a group of general accountants or accounting clerks in maintaining the general ledger.

Strong level of English required – written and spoken.

Key responsibilities :

• Implements the Standard Costing Calculation and Costing Group Policies for Group into CGT Craiova local Costing calculation in respect of Standard Cost implementation and transfer prices calculation under direction of the Finance Manager and Operation Manager.

• Assure the correct computation of all material cost incurred into BOM exists into Standard Costs and therefore in COGS. Working with Engineering department in dimension the costs and the transfer sales prices. Tracking all changes in BOM in due time. Update in due time of the new part numbers for as standard cost into the system. Monitoring the correct data into the system from Standard Cost perspective.

• Implements local processes and procedures that properly capture, track, and report the correct dimension of revenue and Cost of Goods Sold in the related period, also responsible in computation of Sales forecast and Budget.

• Compiles, reviews, analyzes, and records financial information, performing various costing and profitability analysis, such as:

• Segmented PL - Cummins/Statutory;

• VPI projects analysis;

• Sourcing strategy related projects;

• Other cost reduction initiatives - impacting conversion cost;

• Product range profitability strategy

• All profitability analysis required per product, region, customer

• Preparing the Transfer Price calculation data base;

• Statutory P&L per customer for TB annual calculation

• Justification the Purchase Price variances calculation and projection on various reasons, such Copper, Steel, others. Justification of all variation from standard costs in terms of labor costs, other overheads.

• Involved in all local developments concerning RC strategy and allocation.

• Indirect and Fixed Cost allocation per product or another segment.

Work as a part of controlling team identifying weaknesses and communicates to management. Conducts research and analysis on advanced issues. Working with group for all cost analysis required by several department. Ie: cost comparability, profitability of products.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. CCAR is optional ; ACCA is a benefit ;

Experience:

• Relevant professional work experience in the field of study required. 3 years experience in similar position in a multinational company is mandatory.
