The Finance Placement Student role is a developmental position within the Cummins Business Services (CBS) Finance function. Within the Planning, Forecasting and Reporting (PFR) team you will support with the finance accounting, completing Balance Sheet Reconciliation, recording monthly double entry journals, supporting VAT Returns and owning a number of cross charge processes.
Key Responsibilities:Compiles, consolidates, and conducts basic analysis of accounting and finance information.

Assists with the production of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
Makes accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.
Assists with monthly and annual account reconciliations and close activities.
Examines a variety of financial statements and transactions for completeness, internal accuracy, and conformance with accounting standards.
Prepares tables, charts, and other exhibits for reports.
May perform less complex accounting projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects.
This is a Placement Student position therefore you must have relevant GCSE and College qualifications and be completing a university degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification preferred
