This is an exciting opportunity in Elkhart, Indiana for a Financial Analyst. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Assists with the production of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Makes accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.

  • Assists with monthly and annual account reconciliations and close activities.

  • Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.

  • Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.

  • Resolves moderately complex accounts receivable and accounts payable issues by working with sales team, CBS, customers or suppliers.

  • Manage end to end AP and AR process for Parts and service business unit.

  • Assists in inventory valuation process and inventory controls monitoring.

  • Responsible for the preparation of analyses and reports for department managers. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts or statistical reporting.

  • Prepares analyses and reports for department managers.

  • Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.

  • Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.

  • Executes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.

Experience

At least 2 years relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
