We are looking for a talented Senior Contract Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for government contract/subcontract compliance and administration. Responsible for cost and pricing support for government proposals. Maintains compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), Cost Accounting System (CAS) requirements and all other Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). Coordinates policy development and supports all government external audit visits.

  • Serves as an internal resource for all Government audits, issues and reporting requirements.

  • Drives the Contract bid process, negotiation and administration process including all phases of contract management and multiple contract types (Firm Fixed Price, Cost plus, Cost Sharing, etc.).

  • Drives the rate administration and annual audit review of those grants/contracts subject to cost reimbursement.

  • Directs multiple projects across business segments and functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate client needs into action plans and to balance client requirements with reasonable goal setting to achieve win-win outcomes.

  • Manages the team; delegates assignments based on availability, ability, and developmental needs; provides developmental feedback to team members.

  • Drives continuous improvement for the function to maintain consistency and sustainability.

Technical Accounting Assessment - Evaluates and researches transactions in accordance with accounting regulations to ensure recorded in compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

Financial Reporting - Analyzes financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions; prepares and presents financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations; partners with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies.

Business Process and Internal Control Risk Analysis - Evaluates business processes to identify risks and internal control gaps; applies understanding of business processes and relevant risks to develop and implement process improvements; develops risk management plans by applying internal control framework to address identified risks.

Business Partnering - Collaborates with stakeholders and develops partnerships to drive performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies; influences the organization by demonstrating knowledge of the business to provide guidance to support the decision making process and guiding the business towards positive results and organizational alignment; evaluates business environment using measures to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.

Government Regulations - Interprets and applies Government regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk on Government Contracts.

Government Cost Accounting Standards - Interprets and applies the rules around Government Cost Accounting Standards to ensure compliance and mitigate risk of Government audits.

Government and Customer Negotiations - Evaluates contract financial terms in order to reach a final agreement between the parties; determines best interest of Cummins Inc. and mitigates risk while maximizing revenue and margin.

Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Financial acumen - Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

Experience

Significant experience required, including supervisory experience.

Contract Manager (CM) supports the differentcompany stakeholders in reviewing properly our contracts before theirsignature, and follow-up after signature for any change, claim, etc.

  • CM will beacting as a central point of contact for all contractual matters at all stagesof a Project. CM will be coordinating all support services inside the Companyto ensure all aspects of a contract are properly analysed and are acceptablefor the Company

  • CM shall be responsible of draftingcontracts, notices, official letter, important emails and other documents

  • CM shall assist in implementingpolicies and carrying out procedures for contract management and in particularfor compliance matters.

  • CM shall be able to work autonomously

  • Ability to work within diverse andcross functional teams.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, workwell within a high pressure, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment

Education Requirements: Bachelor or Master Degree in relevant field

Technical Skills: Experience (10-12 years) in Contract Management,preferably in Oil & Gas Business and in large Projects contract managementand in EPC Contracts
