PFR Senior Financial Analyst
We are looking for a talented PFR Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Cummins Filtration team in Nashville, TN, or surrounding areas. The Sr. Financial analyst will be responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports. They will support the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting in a myriad of departments within our company.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Report to and support the Filtration Corporate Functional PFR Controller. Provide support for Corporate Functions (HR, IT, Legal & Finance) within Cummins Filtration.
Collaborate with the Filtration External reporting team(s). Work cross functionally with all Filtration Finance teams by supplying necessary reporting and analysis.
Evaluates US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assesses the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge.
Utilizes financial forecast data to provide forward looking projections to facilitate decision making; partners with stakeholders to analyze trends and validate assumptions to provide a forecast that aligns to the organization's goals and strategies.
Analyzes financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions; prepares and presents financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations; partners with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies.
Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification preferred, at least 3-5 years of experience.
Experience making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Proficiency in Excel (V-Look Ups/Pivot Tables). MS Tools, etc...
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
