Junior Accountant
Description
Support on basic and complex financial analyses and reports for management. Supports the annual budget and forecasting processes. Performs activities under minimal supervision.
Prepares basic and complex reporting for management, including reviews for areas of emphasis and follow-up.
Develops and analyzes financial data to support departmental budgets and forecasts.
Explains expense variances and heightens spending awareness within the organization.
Loads actual and forecast data into the financial system.
Supports other daily financial processes for more complex transactions required for purchase requisitions, invoice reconciliation, supplier payments, requests for checks and questions concerning monthly budget data.
Participates or support in special projects as assigned.
Performs ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Experience
Relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Advanced level of English & Spanish.
ACCA Certified /or willing to get certified.
2 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles with strong understanding of Spanish and US GAAP.
Experience in assisting to reporting roles.
Excellent skills of Excel.
Good level of Tax Compliance for a company (VAT, Withholding taxes, Intrastat, SII, CIT, etc.).
Well-organized, detail-oriented, capacity to work in a demanding context, good skills of communication, resolutive.
