We are looking for a PLANT CONTROLLER - SLP talent, to join our specialized FINANCE team for our CORPORATE department for SLP, MEXICO.
In this position you will have an impact by:
-Participating in the business as a member of the leadership team to drive key business metrics, providing input into development of business strategies, and providing financial support for new business development.
-Managing application of accounting practices and works with business partners to apply consistent accounting practices; implementing recommended changes to accounting practices.
-Managing monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes; leading finance communication across entity; developing and presenting financial analysis to business partners.
-Managing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasting processes, providing leadership to business to meet cost, and working capital targets.
-Managing development of strong control environment across the key business cycles.
-Working with business partners to ensure processes are efficient and cost effectiveness to improve the profitability of the entity; partnering with business leaders to create operational efficiencies driving continuous improvements and growth initiatives.
-Managing financial support to comply with any governmental, regulatory, or local requirements, such as tax and statutory accounting requirements.
-Leading financial analysis on capital projects and managing overall capital management process at entity level.
-Allocating financial resources to support business initiatives, including accounts receivable collections, managing inventory and payables, etc.
-Coaching and mentoring all entity finance staff; assigning work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assessing performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
-Significant experience required, including strategy, managerial and budgetary experience in a large complex manufacturing environment.
-Provide advice on complex business transactions, leveraging the central finance team, policy, and compliance resources.
-Primary business finance partner to the Plant manager and plant leadership team. Responsibilities include all FP&A functions for the site, business partnering to provide financial insight to business decision making for the SLP site and being an active member of the leadership team.
-Significant team development skills - Responsible for developing and managing a large team.
-Need to be able to articulate complex business topics including the Maquiladora structure and various accounting regulations in Mexico.
-Fluent English and Spanish skills.
