Cummins is introducing the Distributor Business System (DBS) program, a transformative initiative that will revolutionize the way we operate. With the DBS program, we are bidding farewell to our Legacy platform and embracing SAP as our new distributor business system. This powerful solution brings modern capabilities that will streamline and harmonize our core processes across our Operations and Business Systems.

This is a Hybrid role, which requires at least 40% per week working from local Cummins office, with up to 25% travelling required during the year, within APAC region and Europe region. The role can be based out of any Cummins location in Australia.

There will be a need for work and time zone flexibility given the global impact and cross functional stakeholders.

DBS Finance- Reporting & Analytics Manager

Reporting to the Finance Transformation Director, you will be responsible to support the implementation of the new SAP system across Cummins Europe and Asia Pacific regions.

You will make an impact in the following ways –

• You will be working as part of a large multinational transformation team, based across multiple regions in the world.

• You will be focused on requirement gathering, designing & adoption of SAP system to drive simplification & standardization of:

• Planning, Forecasting and Reporting requirements.

• Operational KPI and performance reporting

• Corporate Reporting requirements – Consolidation & Standardization Opportunities

• Business Insights- Automation, Advanced Analytics & Self-Serve opportunities

• Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation opportunities for predictive analytics

• Within our framework and statutory requirements across our different global locations you will be designing the best solution/s to aid informed business decisions.

• Collaborating with business stakeholders & finance teams across respective business segments and functions to integrate systems efforts.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Highly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated history of driving change and successfully executing Finance Transformation Projects, involving systems like SAP and Oracle. Hands on design & implementation experience.

• Have an in-depth understanding of Planning, Forecasting & Reporting elements of Finance function along with prior experience of automating Business Analytics.

• Exposure to performance management and KPI reporting systems.

• Exposure to multinational consolidation accounting environment is desirable.

• Previous exploration of AI and Machine Learning applications would be preferred.

• Manufacturing and/or Automotive, experience will be advantageous.

• Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, offering constructive input as required, and engaging with diverse regions within a multinational context.

• Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification required.

• Project Management, Lean or Six Sigma Experience will be beneficial
