Tax Accountant 税务会计
This position covers various tax disciplines and focuses on reviewing and analyzing income- and indirect taxes. Performs activities under minimal supervision.
Reviews and assists with the preparation of income, franchise and/or indirect tax returns and payments.
Reviews and assists with the preparation of responses to various tax notices and audits.
Analyzes and prepares supporting documentation of company’s tax positions.
Reviews research and documents findings on various tax issues.
Interfaces with other departments while professionally representing the tax department.
Ensures tax department work flow procedures (tax returns processing and assembly, e-files, scanning and uploading documents to document management system, routings, rejections, reports and deadlines) are followed.
Leads and/or participates in projects as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Tax Technical Analysis - Leverages various tax technical resources by researching applicable regulations, tax code, and case law to ensure taxes recorded in compliance with regulation.
Financial Regulations Acumen - Evaluates applicable regulations for the financial area of focus, such as tax, banking, pension, local accounting to ensure underlying transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable regulations; explains key requirements and purpose of regulations and implications to the business to inform and educate relevant stakeholders.
Financial Internal Controls - Leverages internal control framework by assessing internal controls and developing remediation plans to mitigate financial reporting risks and respond to changing business needs.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
A two year University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
