Tax Accountant 税务会计


  • This position covers various tax disciplines and focuses on reviewing and analyzing income- and indirect taxes. Performs activities under minimal supervision.

  • Reviews and assists with the preparation of income, franchise and/or indirect tax returns and payments.

  • Reviews and assists with the preparation of responses to various tax notices and audits.

  • Analyzes and prepares supporting documentation of company’s tax positions.

  • Reviews research and documents findings on various tax issues.

  • Interfaces with other departments while professionally representing the tax department.

  • Ensures tax department work flow procedures (tax returns processing and assembly, e-files, scanning and uploading documents to document management system, routings, rejections, reports and deadlines) are followed.

  • Leads and/or participates in projects as necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Financial Regulations Acumen - Evaluates applicable regulations for the financial area of focus, such as tax, banking, pension, local accounting to ensure underlying transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable regulations; explains key requirements and purpose of regulations and implications to the business to inform and educate relevant stakeholders.

  • Financial Internal Controls - Leverages internal control framework by assessing internal controls and developing remediation plans to mitigate financial reporting risks and respond to changing business needs.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • A two year University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.


  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
