Finance Leader – Purchase to Pay Change Project
You will be defining the future commercial operation of our Distribution Business Unit (DBU). Joining our finance function, you will be a key member of our team as we enter into our largest enterprise-wide change project that will revolutionise the way we operate. Bidding farewell to Movex and embracing SAP as our new distributor business system - this powerful solution will streamline and harmonize our core operations in sales, service, supply chain, and finance.
You will be supporting the implementation - design through to deployment - for the initial pilot phase (estimated timeline 3 years) as we roll out the system in parallel for both the DBU Europe and Asia Pacific regions.

In this high-profile role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
You will be working as part of a large multinational transformation team, based across the Europe and APAC regions.
In the first year you will be focused on the design and build phase, gathering local/statutory/tax requirements and process mapping.
Within our framework and statutory requirements across our different global locations you will be designing the best end-to-end Purchase to Pay enterprise solution/s for our business.
Collaborating with finance leaders across respective business segments and functions to integrate systems efforts.
Ensuring compliance with Corporate Policies and adherence to Internal Controls across the P2P flow, embedding business processes that are properly documented and support a strong control environment.
Managing a team of two, coaching and mentoring; providing guidance and direction on problems and issues.
This role is a Hybrid, which requires 20% working at your local Cummins site, with up to 25% travelling required, within Europe and potentially further afield to work with the APAC team.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have leadership experience and enjoy coaching and developing your team as well as providing direction and focus to achieve success.
Have a strategic understanding across the full E2E Purchase to Pay process, along with dependencies and commercial impacts, with the ability to dive into the detail of local structures and statutory requirements when needed.
Enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders, providing challenge when needed, working with a range of cultures, and adapting your style accordingly within a multi-national environment.
Have excellent systems knowledge, our main systems will be SAP, Oracle, ARIBA and Basware, so you will understand the flow of information from various interacting systems.
Enjoy working within a change environment, experience of a similar enterprise level change project would be hugely beneficial.
Have significant hands on experience across the P2P process, and exposure to operating within a multi-national environment.
Accounting qualification is preferred but not essential.
You will be rewarded with:
£70,000 - £88,000 – depending on experience
