Assists with data entry, contacts customers and works with the sales team regarding credit applications. Fulfills duties which include credit releases, credit references, credit limit monitoring, research and reconciliation activities. Performs activities under direct supervision.
Vets new applications to ensure completeness and accuracy in line with established procedures.
Reviews credit information and payment history information for established customers.
Sets up new customer accounts and ensures ongoing maintenance of customer changes within the customer master.
Works cross functionally with Cummins Business Services, Sales and Business on customer issues to help find solutions.
Reviews blocked orders and releases where appropriate.
Processes reconciliation of customer accounts.
Ensures local entity credit activities are in line with Corporate Credit Policies.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Minimal or no work experience required.
Resolving customer disputes on past due balances on the account receivable portfolio;(to include collections, account reconciliation, researching disputes and working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve the issue and collect the outstanding balance on account.
Must have strong analytical and Excel skills
Solid understanding of finance processes
Adaptable to computer software that assist with the collection process.
Must have good customer service, negotiation and communication skills.
Organized, flexible, and resilient when trying to resolve a debt.
Possess a courteous and professional demeanor with customers, while working assertively toward end result of debt collection.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience.
